Meet Your Provider
My Approach to Care
I come to healthcare as your teammate, not a dictator. Your health journey is yours. My role is to walk beside you, offer information, guidance, and support, and help you make choices that align with your values and your life. Unless you are overwhelmed with decisions and want someone to make the call for you, if that’s your jam, I’ll wear that hat too.
This is your journey, and there isn’t one right way to do it. You get to choose what works for you. Are you overwhelmed by the time it takes to deal with healthcare, the long waits, the drives, and the scheduling? Maybe you just want a quick telehealth check-in between groceries and obligations, sitting in your car while you finally have a minute to breathe. Or maybe you’re tired of rushed doctor visits where no one takes the time to dig through your symptoms and connect all the pieces to see the whole picture. You get to pick what fits: a 15-minute chat, an hour-long deep dive, or something in between. However you show up, you get to decide what you need, and you get to choose the appointment that fits your life.
I share all of this because you come to meet with your raw self, and I want to meet you there. I’m also a human who has put my eggs in the healthcare basket to help you navigate yours. I want you to know enough about me to decide if I’m the right fit for you. My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d be honored to be part of your team. And if you prefer to keep things strictly professional, that’s perfectly fine too. I’ll meet you where you’re most comfortable.
A Little More About Me
If you’re someone who wants to know a little more about the person behind the credentials, I’m glad you’re here.
I became a nurse out of necessity - as a teen mom needing a stable and reliable income. What began as a practical decision quickly became something much deeper. I discovered that I genuinely love caring for people, especially in moments when life feels complicated, overwhelming, or uncertain.
Over the years, I’ve worked across many areas of healthcare, including women’s health, pediatrics, psychiatry, urology, and functional medicine. Those experiences shaped how I practice today. I don’t see health as a set of isolated problems to fix, but as something influenced by hormones, stress, relationships, environment, and lived experience. That perspective is what ultimately led me to focus on hormone health, perimenopause and menopause care, and whole-person medicine.
I value honesty and transparency in care. I don’t believe in pretending medicine has simple answers when it doesn’t, or in rushing people through decisions that deserve time and thought. Some days I’ll show up polished and prepared; other days I’ll show up human and juggling life - but I will always show up fully present, curious, and committed to your care.
Outside of work, I’m a mother of four living a full, imperfect, busy life. That reality keeps me grounded and shapes how I think about realistic care plans, energy, capacity, and sustainability - because health has to fit into real life to actually work.
When we work together, I see myself as your teammate. You can choose what you need from our visits: quick check-ins, deeper conversations, shared decision-making, or clear guidance. My goal is for you to feel supported, respected, and empowered in your health - not managed or dismissed.
If this approach resonates with you, I would be honored to be part of your care.

I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing personalized, whole-person care through Lake Cavanaugh Wellness. My practice focuses on women’s health, longevity, and preventive medicine, with an emphasis on understanding root causes rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
I work with individuals who are looking for thoughtful, personalized care - whether that means navigating hormonal changes, improving metabolic health, addressing persistent symptoms, or investing in long-term well-being. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and grounded in the belief that healthcare should feel clear, supportive, and human.
Care is delivered primarily through secure telehealth for patients across Washington State, with limited in-home visits available for Lake Cavanaugh residents and guests.
